Riesling

This wine is made by Stone Bridge Winery in the Clare Valley. This wine has delicacy and finesse with fresh lime and lemon with a gentle sweetness that lingers and fills out the palate.

A vibrant, pale golden green in the glass, this wine displays fresh aromas of limes, elderflower and white stonefruits. With bright natural acidity and underlying ripe-fruit sweetness the palate is balanced by a characteristic minerality which leads to a crisp and juicy finish. Fresh and fruit-forward in its youth, this wine will continue to develop over the years with careful cellaring.

This Riesling is owned and made by Capel Vale Winery. It is a terrific Riesling from Mount Barker which has picked up 2 silver medals, one from the Canberra International Wine Challenge and the other from the Western Australian Wine Challenge. It has a lingering palate with vanillin peach, citrus and spiced apple.
